#7

Michael D. Vick was born June 26, 1980 in Newport News
Va. One of the NFL's most gifted athlete's, the 6", 210 lb. QB was drafted at #1 overall by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2001 NFL
draft from Virginia Tech. From 01-06 Vick produced 11,505 passing yards, and rushed for 3,870 yards which enabled him to be
named to 3 Pro Bowls. In 2007 Vick was charged with illegal dog fighting and was subsequently sentencd to 23 months in
federal prison. Upon release Michael was signed to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009.
In my personal opinion, congrats to Mr. Vick for coming back
after a slight hiatus to perform at a professional level once again. I personally saw some of the pictures of the dogs
post-fight an they were terrible, hopefully he has learned his lesson and this pattern of behavior will not be repeated in the future.
The NFL can most definetly benefit from a Michael Vick in their league. From the star-quality that he brings to the field,
to the off the field mentoring that teammates DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and others can take advantage of, Vick is quite valueable.
